| What I Want From Cell Group:
a small, exclusive group of five or six Christians (male or female is okay, although I prefer only female...) who are committed to meeting two Saturday's a month (another Saturday for movie night, and the fourth for a break. If there are five Saturday's, well, we'll talk about it when it comes up. Perhaps we'll go out for a special dinner or something~).
During the meeting times, I want to have a worship time, a prayer time for the nations, then sharing. The sharing would look like: The leader (of the week? of the group?) would share a Bible passage that they've come across in their devotional times, or whenever~, and then we would simply talk about it -- what do we observe, what is God telling each of us from this passage, and how we can make this passage come alive to us in our every days. Then we would pray for each other, for strengths and weaknesses, and special prayer requests.
The End. A time to grow, to talk about God, and to learn from each other.
What Frustrated Me About Last Week's Cell:
- Noriko brought a friend who (is Christian? I dont even know!) doesn't even speak English that well, but is interested in it. (A stranger in my house! gah!) -- this frustrated me because this cell group should be for Christians, and everyone who comes should be fluent in English.
- Yoji talked about "Why The Bible Is Important". Such basics. I mean, I know it's important to remember, and I did learn, relearn, some things that helped my spiritual life, but I would rather study God directly. I mean, I've been through this it feel like millions of times! yeesh. I don't want to go through it again. In Shimonoseki, they made me go through it with Aki, and now I am very against going through basic stuff in a cell group now. I just want to study the Bible!
- Yoji was the "leader"... HE DOESN"T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH!! I don't really understand why he's coming... to make sure we're doing it right? Well, can't he come and watch then? Or just get feedback from the attendings?
What happened at last cell group is so different from what I want from cell group. Too bad Sunday is so busy, because I really need to talk with Yoji about it. At least before the next cell group, but I want to do it soon, so we have more time to plan something for the next cell group. Gosh, it takes so long to plan things with people in Japan!
